MedTech division of BHM
expands to include medifa GmbH

The BHM Group has successfully completed the acquisition of medifa, a leading German manufacturer of equipment for operating theatres. Medifa offers innovative solutions and products of the highest world quality for operating theatres, mobile hybrid surgical systems, and other solutions in the field of hospital equipment and surgical centers. The product portfolio includes mobile operating tables, surgical accessories, mobile carbon operating tables, and surgical lights medifa H!Light.

BHM MedTech Group follows up on its recent successful acquisition of Polish manufacturer of hospital beds and operating tables FAMED. By incorporating medifa into its MedTech group, BHM plans to achieve significant synergies, especially in the areas of sales, procurement, and R&D, and to continue consolidating this market. The MedTech Group companies now generate consolidated annual revenues of €160 million and employ over 1000 people throughout Europe.
