17. 12. 2024

What did 2024 hold for the BHM group? As the year comes to a close, it's a fitting moment to reflect on the achievements and challenges that have shaped the past twelve months. For the investment firm led by Tomáš Krsek, 2024 was marked by milestones affirming its position as a leader in Central Europe's investment market. Despite navigating a challenging environment, BHM group strengthened its position across its core areas: private equity, renewable energy, commercial and residential real estate, and venture capital. The results highlight the group's strategic vision, its ability to seize opportunities, and its commitment to precise execution and fostering long-term partnerships.

Expanding Reinsberg Group: A Key Priority

Among the year's most significant achievements was the growth of Reinsberg Group, the healthcare division emerging as one of Europe's strongest players in medical technologies. In 2024, the group acquired a majority stake in Brandon Medical, a UK-based innovator in healthcare technology. This acquisition bolsters Reinsberg Group's portfolio, which already includes renowned manufacturers such as ALVO Medical, Famed Żywiec, and Medifa. These companies collectively generate annual revenues exceeding €90 million and play a pivotal role in BHM group's strategy to consolidate the European medical equipment market and expand globally.

"Reinsberg Group now possesses the capacity and expertise to become a leader in healthcare solutions, not just in Europe but across global markets," stated Dr. Markus Keussen, CEO of Reinsberg Group. The group's strategic development was further reinforced by the establishment of Reinsberg Group Czechia and Slovakia, enhancing direct sales capabilities in the domestic market.

Real Estate and Laboratory Innovations

In 2024, BHM group focused on expanding its portfolio of logistics and industrial centers, a crucial component of its commercial real estate operations. The group currently owns six centers, spanning a total area of 405,000 m², located in Slovenia, Serbia, Slovakia, and Croatia. Plans to expand by an additional 777,000 m² underscore the group's ambition to become a leading player in this sector, addressing the rising demand for modern and efficient infrastructure.

On the residential side, BHM group enjoyed success with the "Resort na Výsluní Bakov nad Jizerou" and "ICON Park Kladno" projects. Together, these developments offered 481 modern apartments emphasizing quality and sustainability, most of which have already been sold.

Significant progress was also made by Köttermann Group, a leader in laboratory infrastructure. With the acquisition of Danish company Labflex, Köttermann Group cemented its position as a global leader, offering cutting-edge solutions to hospitals, research institutions, and industrial clients worldwide.

Advances in Renewables and Venture Capital

In the renewable energy sector, BHM Renewables deepened its collaboration with the Conquest fund in 2024. This French company's group sold two Finnish wind farms with a capacity of 182 MW, and additional projects with a combined capacity of 500 MW are currently in the preparation stage. With the growing importance of clean energy sources in the energy mix of all countries, BHM Renewables is strategically expanding its activities. The company is currently working on projects aimed at an installed capacity of up to 4,500 MW, demonstrating its long-term commitment to combining sustainability with economic growth and strengthening its position in the European renewable energy market.

In the venture capital space, BHM group celebrated a standout achievement with Oddin.gg, recognized as the fastest-growing company in Central Europe in Deloitte's Technology Fast 50 CE ranking. This success highlights the group's capability to identify and support promising technological startups.

Long-Term Vision

The past year demonstrated BHM group's strategic adaptability and innovative potential. With a diversified portfolio and a focus on cultivating lasting partnerships, the group navigated challenges successfully, achieving exceptional results.

"2024 proved that even under difficult conditions, significant successes are possible. Our strength lies in combining experience, vision, and talented individuals unafraid of embracing new challenges," said Jan Černý, Managing Director of BHM group.

The group enters 2025 with ambitions to expand its activities, strengthen its position in key sectors, and lead in responsible investing and sustainable growth. "We invest in a future that combines economic success with societal benefit," Černý concluded.
